Maryland's award winning photographer Tammy Thompson is the owner, photographer, and digital artist of Passionate Portraits. Of all my photography awards, my greatest achievements is two time recipient of Maryland Photographer of the Year. This means you can relax and let me handle your portrait needs with confidence and you will love your portraits I capture of you and your loved ones.
Your photography experience with me will be on a personal level each step along the way. From planning your session to the pickup of your final portraits, you will deal directly with me. I pride myself in making your photography process with Passionate Portraits an enjoyable one.
I am here to capture your portrait needs. I photograph individual portraits, family portraits, senior portraits, couples portraits, children's portraits, and boudoir portraits.
As a portrait photographer, I specialize in outdoor photographs.Your portraits will be captured on my 15 acre scenic studio farm. I love natural sunlight but I also incorporate assisted lighting at times.
This 150 year old retired champion horse farm with its rolling hillside is now landscaped for my photography clients.
There are three primary photography seasons; spring, summer, and autumn. Each season is special and offers my clients different settings for their pictures.
Springtime buttercups are very popular at Passionate Portraits with the back field full of these wonderful tiny yellow flowers. I started a buttercup wait list a few years ago that gives those on the list first pick of dates during buttercup season.
Summertime is probably my favorite season because the sunlight is incredible and I have so many things in bloom. Butterfly bushes, joy pye weed, and roses to name a few of the consistent blooms.
Fall is beautiful here on the farm. Besides the autumn foliage,we have the back field flowing with tall, red tipped grass that fades to a wheat color. Truly a wonderful setting for fall portraits.
The privacy of the farm that backs to the reservoir is a blessing to my clients. It creates an intimate outdoor location for my boudoir clients and sets them at ease. The studio farm is also pet friendly. Pets are part of the family and you are welcome to bring them to include in your session. Motorbikes, hot rods, and classic cars can also be brought here to be part of your session.
Another important aspect of my photography that shows is my ability to capture the best light of the day for your images. My sessions start two hours before sunset and run up till the sun sets. I only photograph one client an evening so you are never rushed and there is plenty of time to capture all your images.
As an award winning digital artist, I do all my own editing. This allows me full control on the final look and feel of your portraits. Your images will look amazing, but not overdone.
Thanks for visiting my website and I look forward to capturing you and your loved ones.
